There’s no single best pickleball app for Apple Watch. There’s a best one for what you want: a score that keeps itself, a breakdown of your swing, video analysis of your matches, or numbers that show how you win. Here are the apps worth knowing, grouped by the job they do.
We make Rally Trace. Every other description below comes from the app’s own App Store listing, read on 28 October 2026. Prices and features change, so check the listing before you buy.

From each app’s App Store listing on 28 October 2026. A dash means the listing doesn’t mention it, not necessarily that the app can’t do it. “Free to keep score” means scoring costs nothing; a one-time purchase or subscription gets a dash.
To keep score on your wrist
Rally Trace
Ours, on the App Store. Rally Trace is built to show you how you win: who you play best with, how you do on your serve and on theirs, and whether you’re getting better month to month. It starts with the score on your watch, in doubles or singles: tap the side that won each rally, and it keeps the score, the server and where everyone stands, and calls the score out loud. Every game lands on your iPhone with its momentum and your heart rate, and your record with every partner and opponent is free. Rally Trace Pro adds how often you win the rally on your serve and on theirs, points per serve turn, side outs and your win rate month by month.
Pickleball Score Keeper
Swipe scoring on the watch, with the score spoken aloud, the server and positions shown, and tags for unforced errors and service stats. A one-time purchase.
Side Out
Swipe scoring that works on the watch without your iPhone during play, with player profiles, your record against opponents, and an iPhone or iPad scoreboard that can announce the score. Free.
PickleScore
Tap scoring with large buttons, an always-on display and markers for the serving team and server number. A one-time purchase.
PickleballTrkr
Records who won each rally and keeps the score and server, with aces and service faults, in side-out or rally scoring. A one-time purchase.
Tally
Scoring for pickleball and other racket sports, with server rotation, timeouts, a match recap and AI match insights. Free scoring with a paid tier.
To see your swing
PickleWatch
Detects and grades your swings from the watch’s motion sensors, with swing speed and coaching tips. Free with a paid tier.
Padelio
Scoring on the watch for padel and pickleball, with stroke detection for padel. Paid before use.
To analyze video of your matches
SwingVision
Films your match on iPhone and uses AI to track shot speed, depth and placement, with automatic scoring, line calling and highlights. A subscription.
PB Vision
Turns uploaded match video into shot-by-shot stats and skill ratings, with an AI coach for questions about your matches. Free to start, with paid plans.
What about DUPR?
DUPR is the rating app, not a scorer, and it has no Apple Watch app. You log matches and your opponents confirm them. If you play leagues or tournaments, you may already use it alongside one of the apps above. How to improve your DUPR rating explains how it works.
How to choose
- You want the score kept: any of the scorers, Rally Trace included. Pick by how you like to score and how you like to pay.
- You want to fix your strokes: swing tracking is coming to Rally Trace. Until then, a swing app on your watch, or video analysis if you can film.
- You want to know who you win with and whether you’re getting better: that’s what we built Rally Trace for.
